The Boeing Center South, Chinook H-47 Focus Factor Conversion Program in Ridley Township, PA is a five-year program dedicated to transforming an 85-year-old industrial production complex into a state-of-the-art facility. Boosted by the increasing demand for the H-47 Chinook heavy-lift military helicopter, Boeing Philadelphia developed a plan to increase efficiency in the production process. All construction was completed without disrupting the 24/7 assembly operations as production rates increased and has since won the title of the Engineering News Record (ENR) 's "Best of the Best" in the Manufacturing Category. Our project objective included vacuum and compressed air piping in addition to HVAC and system utilities installs.
